About the zine

“Ephemera” is defined as things of interest, often short-lived. You could say zines are ephemera. The topics the trio wants to explore are ephemeral. In this issue, however cliche it may be, they’d like to explore the fleeting moments experienced between pet owners and their companions found on social media. On social media, pets are either cute dumb creatures or life-changing guardian angels, as if there’s no in-between. Let’s celebrate the complex collection of moments of mundanity, peace, endearment, stress, and more. It may be a small interaction or a vague feeling, but the trio finds it worth capturing.
